Spent the vast majority of the day in Grand Rapids with my youngest son today at an art class... but got home just in time for sunset.

Shot only with the Fuji X100 today (google it). This is the best point and shoot camera I have ever used hands down... gives my D7000 a run for file quality every time. Fixed lens 35mm f2 12mp. Cool feature is called motion panoramic. start shooting from left to right and it auto-stitches and color balances in camera and gives you a monster file. This is that full motion pano... pretty good I think

Quick story, if you look out to the pier to the right you will see it is completly wet... obviously from waves crashing over and runoff. I have lived in this town for 25 years of my life, I know when to go out and when to stay away from the water and today was a stay away for sure. I did decide to go to the portion of the pier that was protected with a blue railing and rocks. In my excitement I took 3 steps too many (still safe but not sheltered)... huge wave breaks over the wall and as I see it coming I try to jump as high as I can (think kids playing in waves jump).... still catches me above the knees... fills the shoes and I was soaked. Kept the camera dry, still shot for 15 minutes until I couldnt feel my hands. Just want to stress I was not on the unprotected pier but had I been I could have been washed off easily. I saw a lot of people taking stupid chances for good light today... scary.

Lomo Horizon Perfekt - thought this one was broken but a buddy of mine fixed it and it is back to new. This is northern new mexico on the way to Arizona

Flickr could really use some work on presenting various image shapes... I almost hate to share pano's here because they just seem small and lifeless.
