It's time to reveal where in Seattle this photo was taken -- I originally posted it to the Guess Where Seattle group. In the group's rules, they state "Please no super easy shots. We all know the Space Needle."

So it was that I knew my first shot in the Guess Where Seattle group had to be ... of the Space Needle! Two months and 250 views later, no one has guessed it :)

These are decorative beams on the ceiling inside the Space Needle Observation Deck. Seattle design firm Hornall Anderson influenced the reformed and repainted interior in 1999-2000 with their interactive additions, which all together reflect the graceful, space-age exterior and the aspirations of the city.

For more discussion and another view of the Space Needle, see my shot taken on the same day from outside and under, Looking Up.
