Rock Garden in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab, is the only planned city in all of India. Unfortunately,that also makes it one of the least interesting cities in India - wide straight roads means lots of cars. And the buildings are all relatively modern and squarish. It looks like 36 square blocks of strip malls.

BUT there are some beautiful things hidden on the outskirts of the city. One of those things is the rock garden, which was the pet project of Nek Chanh. It is a beautiful place, think of a larger version of Guell park in Barcelona.
