Oh my goodness what incredible atmosphere. I think that is the strongest thing about your work. It is so uniquely YOU and also has a flare for capturing moments that are extremely special and rare.

I knew you must have been waiting on something HUGE to post. Seriously, if you let your work be defined by this and your last upload then I don't even care if you never upload another one of your HDR/urbex shots. You are setting the bar, for real.

Your suit is going to small nasty for years now. For real. That "Detroit Mist" has a pungent kick to it.
Outstanding as usual my friend. And any chance to use a word like "pungent" entertains the hell out of me. :)

I take it back... your urbex is sick too. Keep on kickin out the goods.

This just rules. Backs up everything I said and then some. Brilliant nod to classic Noir. Mr. Marlowe lives!
The one thing about your images is that I really want to see them large - preferably in a gallery somewhere. They have a way of sucking the viewer right into your world - a quality which, I imagine, would be enhanced a hundred-fold in that kind of setting. You're killin' it!

Nicely done B. This is such a departure from your urbex work though. Do you feel a split photography personality like I do?
pimpdisclosure (38 months ago | reply)
These were my exact words I uttered under my breath when I clicked on your page word by word:
(insert mouse click on B.Plus page)
(web page loads, your picture appears)
pimp: "holy fucking shit. Is he for real with this? Can he be any badder?"
You know how you just linked to 2 self-portraits that you thought were my best. This is groundbreaking.
Where do I start? The stains on the ground, the steam, the briefcase, the mystery, the detail, suit, you, the briefcase (again). Yeah I think the briefcase does it for me. But the light in the background does it too, how it illuminates the left side of the back. It wouldn't be the same without that.
This is one of the coolest images I have ever seen in my life. This my man is incredible.
Excellent work! How long did it take you to do this?

This shot literally took 5 minutes. I wear a suit to work every day, and dug up my briefcase this particular day for a separate after work idea. On my way home this one popped in my head, so I drove around downtown for about 15 minutes looking for a drain with enough steam to shoot. I spotted this alley, left my car running, set up, and went for it. It took me like 5 takes though, because the steam was burning the crap out of me. I got a couple of retarded Ben Stiller-like outtakes and some funny looks from people passing by, but mission accomplished. lol
