My Sunshine

My Sunshine by Brian Auer.
Taken with Fujifilm Neopan 100 film.

That's the wife getting ready to head out and enjoy the sun. When I saw her sitting there I had to grab the camera and try for this shot. She thought I was trying to take a photo of her face and she kept looking at me... "Just do what you were doing before"... click. I got exactly what I was going for with this one.

Incedentally, I have no idea why she gets frustrated with me so often -- especially when I have a camera in hand.

Thanks! I designed the tattoo for us a while back. I've got one in the same spot (slightly larger), but the center of mine is a solid black circle with a rim of empty space. She wanted to be a little different so we put her sign in there instead.

This is great. That neopan 100 you are using looks pretty good. I will have to pick up a roll.

I'm pretty happy with that roll I shot. Another one I'm liking is the Ilford 3200 -- I'll be posing some of those over the next week.

Oh 3200! Awesome! Can't wait to see what you did with that.

My wife gets frustrated with me all the time as well, though more so when I'm pointing a camera at her :D

The only downside with film (well the older gear anyway) is manual focus. So when you're trying to score an awesome shot with f1.4 and your wife keeps moving...well it's kind of frustrating!
