This is a photo from a few weeks ago when I was in Georgia visiting Alex. When I got there in the beginning of the week, the forest was dead and there were just small hints of green poking out between logs and from piles of leaves. During the week that I was there, the forest exploded with life, with new plants popping up where none were just days before. It was fun to see, considering we don't really have seasons where I live.

I put a detail shot in the comments- I thought the close up of the window in the door made for an interesting portrait.

Oh, this is great. I love how all the trees help to frame this picture so beautifully. The broken glass is beautiful, I like the detail shot very much too.
