All I can think is that, with the time associated with taking photos, tagging, posting, etc, this man has way too much free time on his hands. Think of all the humanitarian good he could achieve if he put this kind of effort into it. Poor waste of internet real-estate if you ask me.

Awesome. I want to come work at Google... or better yet, try to get my workplace to adopt the same employee-feeding policies.

Is it just me, or does all the food look the same? There's a pile of some unidentifyable salad ingredients; a pile of some puke-looking beans/corn/ mush; and to top it off - more veggies! I will say the food is colorful.

Color-coordination is not important to me. This food looks disgustingly bland and boring. I'd rather have a turkey on pumpernickle, but that's just me.

Have I stumbled into veggie heaven or something? Where's the good old fashioned sandwiches, the APPETIZING pasta... not a speck of gravy in sight and you call this a good lunch? I DON'T THINK SO.

The green stuff is wheatgrass.

As for elntnn, well, sorry if my pictures don't do the food justice. You can get boring ole sandwiches and turkey and what-not, but that's not what I eat, and therefore, not what I take pictures of.

I can't tell what half of these things are but they all look good enough to eat. By the way Brett, you must work out like a maniac because you should be like 400 pounds by now...

Great Blog and some lovely pictures just makes your mouth water. As a caterer i will have to use some of these as inspiration for some of the cooking i do would be i shame to spand loads of money on catering supplies and not make good use of them. Keep up the good work.

I found my way here from a comment at the NY Times Lede column. I was trying to figure out where you worked, then realized lots of the plates looked like the Charlie's plates and that many of the photos were taken on the main campus patio.

aura_yang - yes, there is Chinese food at Google. One of the cafeterias always has jook for breakfast (among other things) and an assortment of Asian food at lunch.
