Coffee-Ceremony-2
The weekly Ethiopian coffee-roasting ceremony at Sidamo Coffee & Tea on H Street NE. Since this was all about coffee, I thought it fitting to develop the film in coffee, too. Specifically, Caffenol C, which is nothing more than some Folger's instant coffee, Arm & Hammer Washing Soda and ground-up Vitamin C. Yes, folks, this concoction can develop film. Is there anything coffee can't do?

Seriously, you can develop film in coffee? That is possibly the coolest thing ever, and I will have to try it some day. And congrats on being a DCist winner. :-)

That certainly is a very nice shot, though a bit too grainy for my tastes. I haven't played with Cafenol yet but it's on the agenda. Now if I can decide between AP100 or LegacyPro100.

Love this! Love the Leica the Tri-x the scene the exposure the fact that it was souped in Folgers her expression, everything! Love it!
Stormbyte, ap100 is kodak plus-x 125 and Lp100 is Fuji neopan. Just in case you didn't know... Both great :)
