Harbor Seal Pup

The girls and I spent the past few days at Acadia National Park, Quoddy Head State Park, and Cobscook Bay State Park. We read about this great place in the current issue of Down East Magazine.

We spotted this harbor seal on a rocky beach during our hike of the Coastal Trail at Quoddy Head State Park.

Brent climbed down a treacherous (to borrow a term from Bear Grylls) steep cliff to get down to this seal, who then bounced back into the water.
