Balance

    Newer Older

For those of you in the Nashville area that have the time, there is something that I recomend you see. The Peking Acrobats have a daily show in the Opryland Hotel Delta Conservatory at 8:30 pm which will run until early September. I am not easily impressed with "stunt show" types, but these performers were very good. It was well worth the walk and navigating the crowd. The show is free. Parking at the hotel is $10, but you can park for free at Opry Mills and walk, also.

technical note: My flash isn't that good, I was sitting directly under a spotlight.

I like the composition a lot, and the capture is superb - with a bit of post processing this can be a hit.

That's a great shot. The exposure and capture of the action is done real well. I'm going to have to make it out there for that.

Very cool. Just saw Cirque Du Soleil a couple nights ago!

An usual sight in all Circus, but unfortunately these artists are not given their due praise. It requires a lot of practice for this.

JimReeves is correct. She took about 5 minutes to get into that pose. The chairs in the picutre are stacked on another two chairs. The 4 chair legs each are supported by a wine bottle which was placed atop a table.

The thumbnail had me completely fooled. I thought it was a bird on some sort of strange perch. Imagine my surprise to see this girl!

Lovely shot - used on a blog post: Balancing business risks and risk management in China. (Corny headline, I know.)
