On yet another night of whirlwind picture taking, I found a surprise shot in a place that I did not expect to see one. My original plan had been to shoot Holiday Wishes from the top of the contemporary and attempt to stay up there long enough to capture some star trails to go with the shot. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so this idea will have to wait. In the meantime, I'll just hope it doesn't pop up on Flickr!
I had never shot fireworks from the TTC before either, so I changed plans after setting up on top of the Contemporary and quick ran down to the monorail station. After getting up the escalator, I noticed this this sign. It was almost as though it was asking me to take its picture! So, like any time crunched photographer would do, I set up the tripod and got up close and personal with the fiheye on! I must say, it was well worth the time, as this has turned into one of my favorite shots. And... I still managed to get set up in time to shoot the fireworks!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
