Can you believe this is downtown Windsor Ontario, 18 Feb 2012, +3C !! I should be standing in 2ft of snow by this time of the year and the Detroit river should be frozen over! Gee I love this!!! Fida and I had a nice evening out and about in this weather.....

Dianne & I back at Dianne's room after our monthly meeting. We are drinking Yellowtail Chardonnay wine along with Tianne, my BFF who took the picture... Another great night with my Amiga. Tianne and I both loved Dianne's boots!!!!!

Casual day out in my media room, watching a movie with bff....Just grabbing snacks from bar fridge. Popcorn machine for the kids and me lol

My BFF took this picture much later the same night with my newly arrived flowers. She thinks this is a better picture even though I am very tired, different top, almost no jewelry, and makeup fading. So I am putting this up. It was such a nice gesture to be given flowers from my neightbours who until now have not talked to me since my transition. We have been neighbours for almost 20 years and have not talked in over 1.5 years. Perhaps a good start to a new year!

Well my day and year has ended on a very nice gesture. As I was returning home from dropping off my daughter and grabing a TH coffee, my neighbours came over and gave me these pretty flowers wishing me a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Wow things might be alright after all. We talked for about 15 minutes never once asking anything personal. Perhaps their way of accepting Brenda finally? They had not talked to me in a VERY long time. So on that nice deed HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and thanks so much for all your support and nice comments.
