Nell: Day 1
Within her first two minutes in the house, she had a nervous accident on the floor (number one, thank you.)
Within the first hour, she had (reluctantly) been up, down and back up the three flights of stairs to her new house. Greyhounds don't know what stairs are until they're taught about them in peoples' homes.
By the time we reached hour four, she'd decided she'd landed in a pretty good place. Melissa and I heard two loud thumps - the first was her body collapsing in the middle of the carpet, and the second thud was her head hitting the floor, happy as can be.
