We're niggling over electrical grounds when there's a monohydrazine rocket at the end of the tub? German's really didn't mess around with heating up their bath water.
Which is why you sat over the drain in that era's bathtubs.
Note how das loofah dish hangs to the outside of the tub? The loofah will make a puddle on the floor so that when the tub is drained, there remains a puddle, or wet bath mat, with which to step into, or upon, when turning off the lamp after the bath. This needs a sub-picture showing THAT hazard. But then, we do have the 'foot in a puddle, grab the lamp' gypsy scrubwoman picture to illustrate that event.

This one's a trick - Pay no attention to the robot overlord at the foot of the tub, the real danger is the lamp.

...and no "death box" , so again...I can't see the problem.
(unless it's in the room but out of picture, then I might be reaching for the towel)

Well, of course he's holding on tight to whatever's available. That rectangle isn't a bath mat, it's the floor falling away into the distance.

I'm going to have to remember that the base and stem of lamps are electrified.
