Where is this cafe/restaurant? I used to live close to the Metro station Cambronne, which is named after one of Napoleon's generals (who famously replied when asked to surrender,
"Merde!" - that became "le mot de Cambronne")

Place Cambronne opposite the raised métro line. Nice restaurant but a bit pricey.

I had heard the story about the "merde" expession. It now means "good luck". :)
