Slow Moving Boxes
My sister had expected her move to be complete by now; but the interior of her new house has wound up requiring three weeks of cleaning, patching, and repainting once its previous owner removed her furnishings and revealed the true state of the walls and ceilings.
Meanwhile my own house remains stacked with boxes. Someday they will be gone and I will be able to vacuum and tidy my own house again.
