Awesome..but strange that there is no light pollution in Texas?

I definitely couldn't have taken this near a big city in Texas like Dallas, or even Austin but Marfa,Texas is very remote. The region it's in, far Southwest Texas, is considered one of the darkest places in the United States. This allows for very little light pollution.

Awesome! A good friend of mine grew up in Marfa and keeps telling me I need to head out there to gaze at the night sky.
