These shelves will be for sale as a kit in 2011 some time. Not by me, but by my friend Adrian who built them. If you're interested, just write a comment below and we'll contact you when they are ready to be sold.

It will be a kit with different modules (a corner, two big modules etc.)

Awesome! :) I want one of those... It's custom made I guess?

Kult! Men litt vanskelig å holde ryggene perfekt på linje, kanskje?

Thanks for the favs and the nice comments!

It's at our house but I did not make it myself. Our good friend Adrian Brookes designed and built it. I hope we'll be able to show how pretty soon, as he has done some really cool thinking and building here.

@Bharfot: Nope, no problems aligning the books. You do it just the way you do it in a normal bookshelf, pushing them in until you're happy.

That’s just it, I have trouble keeping my books in nice rows, even in straigth shelves. Pushing them in and out too often, I guess ;)

Øyvind - I love these and have featured them as my ' BookShelf of the Week'. Thanks for sharing the shot!

Wow, thanks Robert. What an honour! I think Adrian fell off his chair when I SMSed him the link. LOL.

I'll put up more pics and info soon.

Øyvind - My pleasure, although I can't understand why your friend would 'fall off his chair'. I'm not exactly the New York Times (unfortunately :o))

Looking forward to the follow up pics.
      Warmest
      Rob

Adrian Brookes will have his site up in a few days, with more about how he designed it and built it. Maybe someone would like something similar at their house?
