Nativity Facade

Nativity Facade by -12°C.
More La Sagrada Familia by Gaudi. This the Nativity facade was the first of the three facades to be completed and the only one which Gaudi lived to see. This along with the Passion facade are just the sides of this massive church, and the towers are simply babies compared the one which is to represent Jesus.

It might even be a bit over the top, heck this whole church is over the top. But it's also completely amazing.

this is one of the better photos of the cathedral i've seen. it's so difficult to capture its magnitude. but i don't think this is over the top, because i think it goes way beyond christianity..

Geez this is breathtaking! I love the sun though on the left. Awesome. Wish I could see that for myself someday.

thank you kindly. but we must not forget that it isn't a cathedral, despite it being much more impressive than one.

thanks peeps.

interesting. I can see that actually. perhaps it's best they're still included.

then get your butt to europe already ;)

eh, you're right. it's just a big flippin sandbox. let's bulldoze it!

Very nice. I have to admit I might not have bothered trying this shot, thinking that it wouldn't come out well, but this is great. Good work. Part of me agrees with Alex and Orwell, especially this facade.

nono, let's not.

But is it me or this building would look awesome in Hell rather than in Heaven?
