Doctor Who, The Pirate Planet, and Netflix

Thanks to Netflix, I'm catching up with some classic Dr Who.

I haven't seen most of these since they were first shown. This one is now over 30 years old.

After a quick look on er........Wikipedia, there are apparently references to HHGG in the The Pirate Planet.

Shame Mr Adams isn't around anymore :(

I think Douglas Adams put Hitch Hikers references in just about everything he did! Much of it was probably more down to his style of humour then specific references as such.

If he was still around, I wonder if he'd still be doing to odd script for New Who? That would be pretty magical.

Oh yes! Quite an extensive collection as well. Saved me a small fortune not having to buy it.

So long as I mix one, here and there. Just have to keep the Mrs happy getting her movies in.
