bounce on, jumper's photostream

I'm like one of those little bouncy balls, y'see. Just come ricocheting right back off whatever wall you chuck me at. Eventually.

The extreme busyness of the last two years meant all the good things in life, like photography, had to be severely cut back on. Now, however, I am free! So this just possibly means I'll be able to come back truly and properly this time. (For the seventeenth time, I know)

This is a shot of a good old desert sunset, taken on camel-back in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (central Australia) just a couple of days ago.
Despite finally having obtained for myself a real live digital SLR camera, and despite the general glory and majesty of Ulura (Ayers Rock) and the surrounding area, good photos proved amazingly hard to come by out here. I blame myself. And maybe my lack of a wide-angle lens.

So um, yeah, it's nice to be back. Expect this photostream to flow slowly in future. I'm trying to raise my standards a bit as to what I upload here- you'll notice about two thirds of my old photos are gone.

Yes, my hand is under there somewhere.

Did some more hand surfing while I was away, as you can all no doubt see.

I also haven't replaced my filthy watch band...

You can now call me Sir Jumper of the Holy Grail... I think :^)
It's been a fun day in the big city, thanks to my good friends Mrs PB, Mr Fox and Mr Shaun, who were with me in paper form the whole time.

And to Mrs Ally- I'm hoping you weren't there today, because if you were I missed meeting a real Flickrperson. I'll keep a better eye out next time anyway!

That's right everybody, Ishmael is back!! His hair may be a tad scruffier, and his arms a bit less shining-white and fluffy, but our hero has truly returned in all his awesomeness.
And with a brand-new non-moldy head, which may or may not have been stolen from Ike.

This here is a shot of Ishmael on the verge of becoming the very first pipecleaner person ever to catch the rising moon.
