Flower pot
Had to check out how the magnificient Lex
35 would behave as a large format camera, or at least how the lens would
perform when mounted on a view cam and using it to shoot a 9x12cm
negative.
I had to go pretty close, the lens is about 2cm's away from the
flower. I
was surprised that it actually covers the whole negative. I am also
surprised over how long this flower can survive without water (I do
give it some when I remeber...).
It was also the only subject around when the cam was set up...

I too am surprised at the coverage. Cool shallow DoF. You have to focus this close? Fairly sharp in the middle still. Tons of potential.

I like the glow! Like a fairytale, miraculously brought back by a few drops of water.

I took your setup and was playing around with something almost the same. It's a backwards vivitar t100 lens on a 4x5 crown graphics, and then shooting the viewfinder with my digital (i was having polaroid exposure issues). Anyways, it looks like it gets full 4x5 coverage reversed and normally oriented. If you have a rear shuttered 4x5 or a a better way to control the shutter speed this is kind of an awesome wide angle alternative. There is a bit of light drop off on the edges, but that's what you get from a 1.95 camera.

This leica film lens have 4x5 coverange only when focusing very closely. I bet that the lens will have close to 50mm image circle when focused at infinity.
