These are but a few of the words that describe the playing of pianist Hank Jones, as well as the man himself. ~ View On Black

This is another in my series of CD covers that I make for the music I download. Not to be a smarty pants, but as I listen to the music I find I am inspired to make CD covers that are more satisfying to me than the one’s that often accompany the original CD.

Personal art inspired by the musician’s art.

When the music talks to us, we can allow our emotions to listen [feel]. Often, we are moved to passions of joy, tears, peace, reverence. Artists of all kinds (painters, sculptors, photographers, writers, dancers) are lucky to have that little extra place, where they can channel the passions they feel through their own creative and artistic spirits.

Wonderful things can come out.

One [design] goal I have is to have the beauty, vigor or spirit of the music reflected in the cover. But, the second is to design a cover that would, when picked up by a someone, make them pause, look at it, go "my, my" and make them want to hear the music within.
