Hell, I talk to a lot of things: clouds, the sky, rivers, water, the moon, the sun. And, perhaps not surprisingly, they all talk back, and share the most marvelous of things. ~ View On Black
I didn't see the bird until I got home. I don't talk to seagulls. They don't talk back; they scream! They are the loudest damn creatures on the water. Plus, I saw Hitchcock's "The Birds." (1963; I was 13). Never quite forgot it, or got over it when it comes to big, loud, aggressive, flocking species like Gulls.
Oh yeah, two nights before the full moon - which rises over the lake. On many nights it looks like a big, white plate of fine china. Its reflections on the night water are almost as strong and vibrant as these made by the clouds.
Been away for a about seven days. Severe Flickr withdrawal. I am an addict. Yeah, well, tough, so what? "If there's a cure for this, I don't want it. Missed everyone and the daily doses of inspiration and the emotional and spiritual uplifting I receive from your images and comments.

I love this, different from your usual !!
I rather like the gull in the shot.
We get them here a lot, noisy things, and not especially nice critters, they do BAD things to other birds, BUT, wouldn't we miss their call, their raucous cries ??
