Letter from domain scammer #2 (Domain Registry of America)
This is the second letter I've received from a domain scammer. This one is from Domain Registry of America. I also scanned the back side.
I call them a scammer because this letter is clearly designed to look like a bill. Their hope, I surmise, is that you will skim the letter, conclude that it is a bill, and pay it—thereby transferring your domain over to them. I have no idea whether this is legal or not, though I think they make it legal by saying in the text that it isn't a bill. But the layout of this letter is that of a bill, which is how I arrive at my opinion that it's meant to fool you into thinking it is a bill. Be careful with anything you receive in the mail. If you get a letter like this, go directly to your domain-name registrar and make sure nothing's changed. If it hasn't, you can safely ignore the letter. the DRoA.

I've received ones JUST like this, but from the "Domain Registery of Canada" (for .com/.org TLDs). I'll scan mine and post it too when I get a chance, this is seriously unethical.
