Restored Temple of Demeter, Naxos Greece

Restored Temple of Demeter, Naxos Greece by Boots in the Oven.
This was a 6th c. BCE temple dedicated to Demeter; in the 6th c. CE the temple was torn down and the materials were used to build a church. Now they're doing restoration.

Seeing the center of the island.

Thanks, Amanda! I really loved Naxos. It was pretty foolhardy of them to rent us a scooter, though.
