savor the moment

    Tuesdays and Thursdays all of our kids are in school for at least half the day. This gives my wife and I an opportunity to actually sit down together and enjoy a nice cup of coffee...before we cram in all the errands and chores that are easiest to get done when you aren't dragging along a 2 year old ;-)

      For the record, it doesn't get any easier when they're 3, or 4, or 5... and by the time they're old enough to actually be helpful they've taken off with the car and won't answer the cell phone. But hey, at least you've got good coffee, and you'll never run out of something to talk about. ;)

      Our 3 girls are 2, 5 and 8. I don't even want to think about them being teenagers yet (though I know it'll happen before we know it!)
