As much as I like the small simplicity of the SD/XD cards, I still prefer the CF cards because I'm a klutz who loses things often. The bigger the card, the less likely I am to "misplace" them. I currently have a 4GB CF card that stays in my XTi with a backup 1GB CF card if needed. And my card reader of choice, the Griffin Simplifi. (figures!)

Oh, and that reminds me to bring up the fact that Canon has made the switch with its new XSi to SD cards. Might be a sign of the future with Canon, eh. Oh, and they also changed the battery packs for the XSi from the type that my XTi uses. Hmm. At least I can swap lenses with my in-laws new XSi.

I'm the same way. the bigger cards = less likelihood of me losing them.

LESS being the key word. I've lost two 4 GB ones this year.

Not too long ago, my favorite capacity size card was 512MB because one card would fit on a CD. That seems very quaint now.

Ha! I actually burned a CD for my sister-in-law today. First time I've done that since I don't know when. Took me a few ticks to remember how to do it in OS X ;-)
