"Bokeh" always makes me think of a scouse accent for some reason! Anyway, love the weird perspective the shallow DOF creates :)

This is an Excellent Black & White Image!

I'd love to include your photo on a blog post for a butter and herb sauce. Except I'm confused--is it part of the Creative Commons to use with attribution or do I pay $5 for the licensing from the Getty Image? Thanks!

  13. Robert S. Donovan (26 months ago | reply)

@ Spice Sherpa, I'd rather you pay the $5 ;-) but this image is available for free for use on your blog. Just be sure to give me credit for the image. -Cheers!

Plant 48-0943 is a Keller's Creamery Plant in Winnsboro, TX.
The brand in Texas is Falfurrias Butter
    www.kellerscreamery.com/our-brands/falfurrias /our-product...
Keller's Creamery is a consumer brand of:
    Dairy Farmers of America
    10220 N. Ambassador Dr.
    Kansas City, MO 64153
    888-DFA-MILK

An interesting rant about the misperception that it is a locally owned small creamery in a little Texas town:
    southtexasfood.wordpress.com/2010/06/23/this- really-steams-my-pickle/

It is definitely the best butter for the money. I prefer it over the more expensive "European Style" butter.

Thanks for posting with the CC-BY license. When I first found this picture a few months ago I don't remember it having the Getty Images link. I used the picture here: Health Effects of Rancid Fat. I really like your picture, but I don't have any budget to pay for pictures for use on the blog. Do you want more attribution than what I have in the caption? A twitter mention? Etc Etc

Your use of my photo is fine for your blog. I often provide copies of my images for purchase for use in commercial applications (outside of the CC license) via Getty Images and my SmugMug account. Thanks for checking, though. It's becoming the exception rather than the norm around here!
