Satin stitched golden steps, with blue squares of Byzantine stitch,
which has a lovely bump effect caused by the overlapping threads.
The title references the two women who founded The Society of
Deerfield Blue and White Needlework...because this embroidery was
meant to be purely in shades of indigo blue, but has gone off the
rails.
