Looking Forward to April :)

Self Portrait:

So I have finally reached the ending few days of my deployement in Kabul, Afghanistan. I gotta say i defenitely had a wonderful time being with the Army and doing things i will never get to do ever being in the Air Force. Thank You Special Force Army :).
On a better note i have so much to look forward to when i get back. I have started dreaming already of a life that i've been missing out. Being with my gf, family, my dog, eating good food finally :) these are just a few. I cannot wait. I am also looking forward start taking pictures again and i took this portrait as a beginning. Starting to explore the world of Strobism. lol. is that a word ?

Down by the river

I just came across this photo on my mac-book that i captured a while back. I really enjoyed this evening on my way back from my fiancé house. I was just so thrilled by the way the sunset was around this part of Louisville, KY. I took my Canon along with the only lens i had with me at the time and set it on a tripod and start moving around the boat club entrance. Finally Clicked it !!

I think the HDR put a whole new dimension onto the image.
