One-third dismantled
Prebend's bridge over the river Wear in Durham is closed while the scaffolding is taken away. It's been there a year.
The money ran out after only one of the arches had been repaired (the east one, out of shot on the left).
However, it's rumoured that more cash will appear in the next financial year and so the scaffolding will return.
