Four Peaks Mountain (7,657 ft/2,334 m) is 40 miles (64km) east-northeast of metropolitan Phoenix and is part of the Mazatzal Mountain range.
On Sunday evening, a weather front moved through Arizona leaving a dusting of snow on Four Peaks. Later in the day, as the sun dipped to the horizon, a pinkish-red tone danced across the desert floor and brightened the east face of Four Peak Mountain. It was quite a sight!!
