Pylons on the path to Tjuatoten

With so many hills in the area, the Sognefjord area naturally has a few walking routes in it. So on day 4 of our Norway holiday, we caught the bus at 10:05 from Balestrand, and followed the fjord round to Dragsvik.

Near Dragsvik is Tjuatoten – a large mountain – so, armed with a collection of bread, cheese, apples, a sticky cake and a poor quality photocopied map of the area, we started walking.

Certainly at the lower levels, one thing does dominate – the large pylons which pipe electricity across the fjord to the various towns.

Taken on day 4 of our fjord based holiday in Norway.
