Sanderling on Rocky Beach
Hi everyone, I am going to be taking a bit of a break from flickr. I have had some personal issues come up and I'm also still looking to make some money with my photography, so I need to start setting that up. That doesn't leave the time that I like to put into flickr, so I decided I should take a break. There is no time table but I'm guessing I'll be back in time for spring.
Thanks everyone for your support of my work and I will see you when I return. :)

A Cute Little House Mouse
I caught this House Mouse in my house with a live trap. Brought him out to my backyard and took this shot of him. I'm sure he got back in the house later but thought it was worth getting a nice closeup of him. ;^)
I hope every one enjoys this image! :)

This Doesn't Look Like Winter, Maybe I Slept too Long?! (Eastern Chipmunk)
Sorry, I've been away for almost a week because of some personal issues. Everything seems to be getting back to normal though, so it was time to get back on flickr. :)
I did manage to get out and get a few shots on my walk through the woods on Sunday. I was happy to find this guy awake from his winter hibernation on my walk. Chipmunks are known to be active on warm winter days and there have been many of them this winter. As you can see also, all that wonderful snow we had is already melted. It has been much warmer than normal and I thought that this guy must have been very confused at what he saw, hense the title. :)
I hope everyone enjoys this image! :)
The scientific name for this species is: Tamias striatus.
