144 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.

Grocer Fred Welsh was the first owner of this house which was built in 1894 during the early development of the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood. Pat Davis or her son, John, are usually puttering around outside these houses. Really wonderful people. I have spent hours talking to them over the years. In behind these houses is really amazing. They have converted the original stables into a cottage. Still has the original brick floors.
