Video Game CollageSolomon's Key. An incredible puzzle game for the NES that used to keep me entertained for hours. Chrono Trigger. Brilliant story, great music, good combat system, and multiple endings. Not many games beat this. Earthbound. SNES game that was legitametly funny. You fight crazed hippies and annoying party mans. Ranked in my top 3. Dr. Mario. One of the few reasons to keep your NES around. Super addictive Tetris spinoff and a good party game. Alex Kidd in Miracle Land. For the Sega Master System, it was one of the first games that I remember playing. Cobra Triangle. A boat racing game for the NES. You shoot at targets as you race down canals. I read somewhere it's ranked as one of the hardest games for the NES. I never really thought so as long as you had enough lives to get past the waterfall stages. Metroid. Just a very fun game I remember playing all the time when I stayed at my dad's place. And when he turned out to be a she?? I mean what!? Illusion of Gaia. An RPG for the SNES. It's really more of an action game as battles are played like a zelda game, but this game is the first game where I thought that story reigned supreme. I really fell in love with the plot in this one. Even though looking at it now, it's not all that origina Super Bomberman. The Only reason to have a multitap for the SNES. I played this game for countless hours with my brothers. Still to this day, it holds up as a great party game. Harvest Moon. A farm simulator for the SNES. Yup, that's right. Wake up, milk the cow, crop the tomatos, water the corn, feed the chicken, go to town and hit on some girls, go to sleep, repeat. And it's fun somehow! Morrowind. A sandbox RPG for the PC/Xbox. I don't think I ever did the main story line and still logged over 80 hours on this game. I naturally played a burglar that stole anything over 5 gold. I was a rich rich man. Day of the Tentacle. A LucasArts sequel to Maniac Mansion that used the SCUMM engine. I loved adventure games back in the day and this one was one of the best. Great humor. Favourite line "You know what they say "To save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs."" Thief. A stealth game for the PC, you play Garrett as you go around castles looting and unravling a really deep plot. It used a light engine that required you to hide in shadows to elude enemies (one of the first!). And you get to play a thief! Perfect game for me. Ogre Battles. A ridiculously steep learning curve, I have no idea how I ever managed to figure this game out. But I did, and ended up playing it for tooooo many hours. Duke Nukem 3d. I believe it's one of the first PC games I bought. I remember downloading the demo (13 megs which took forever back then) and it contained the entire first episode, which was the best one. The entire game was 28.8 megs and it came with a level editing tool. I had a ton of mods. Pokemon Snap. The first pokemon game for the N64 in North America. You set off in a cart following a set rail and you shoot your camera taking pictures of pokemon. Throwing different items create different poses and secrets from the pokemon. Simple, but really fun. Shame only 6 or 7 levels. Super Mario RPG. An RPG set in the Mushroom Kingdom, and as a bonus, it was actually a really good game! Made by Square, it used a battle system that kept you engaged by causing crit damage when pushing buttons at the right time. And it looked great with 3d rendered models and environments. Civilization Series. It's like playing a really sophisticated board game on your computer. One of the best series ever made, I don't know if I've even finished a game. I've been playing these games for over 15 years and even now have a game on the go. Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I rented this game from Blockbuster the first day it came out and kept it for a week. An amazing game unlike any i'd played before. The cinematics were incredible and the game play was fun. And it had fishing in it! Never caught that eel though... Final Fantasy VIII. Now most people woulda chosen FFVII, but 8 was the first Final Fantasy game I played on the Playstation, and I couldn't believe what I saw. Stunning CG and in my opinion, Nobuo Uematsu's best soundtrack. It had a horrible magic system and it went into space, but it's still my fav Pokemon Blue. I used to make fun of this game until I played it. Then I was hooked on everything pokemon. The anime tv show, video games, stuffed animals, posters, card game. It was just really entertaining to me. Ulitma Online. An MMORPG that really led the path for future MMOs. Back in the day, 97-99, this game was intense. Running through the forest away from PKs (player killers) actually made your heart race. Cuz if you died, you lost everything on you. No game since has reproduced this feeling. Suikoden II. Story is king here. This game had an intense plot that kept you torn about who's right, you or your best friend who joined the other side. The main boss was a character you actually wanted to see die, and you get that half way through the game. Great game. Police Quest 2. An adventure game by Sierra that took a different approach. You were a cop, which means you had to follow police protocol. And it was all text based. I played this before i knew how to spell, boy was that a challenge. Soul Calibur. I have over 150 games for the Dreamcast, and this is the only one that is ever in it. It's had tons of unlockables, a fun mission mode and great balanced characters. It also looked way better than anything that came out for years. Way ahead of its time. Final Fantasy XII. The last Final Fantasy for the PS2 came out after the PS3 and Xbox 360 came out, yet it pulled out all the strings delivering a game that I could not think possible would be able to be played on the PS2. It looked simply amazing. Helped prolong the life of the PS2. Goldeneye. For the N64, it's the ultimate multiplayer game. The first console game to have hit detection meaning if you hit him in his head, he'd go down in one, but shoot him in the foot and it'll take awhile. Also, I'm an unbeatable god at this game and usually get told I can't play at parties. Mario Golf. For the N64, to this day, one of the funnest golf games around. Fun playing by yourself or with other people. Final Fantasy Tactics. The original for the Playstation was awesomely hard. Battles could take up to 45 minutes to play out and the plot was really confusing at times, but this is still a great game. The first 'tactics' game I'd played. The GBA version enhanced lacking features of this PS one. Mario 64. A launch title, but a game that was played until the end of the console's life. Little known fact, just as many Mario 64s were sold as consoles were sold in Japan during the first week of launch. An amazing figure. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure. Another LucasArts adventure game using the SCUMM engine, this is a game I used to play all the time at my dad's. It had different paths to the ending and came with Indy's dad's journal that had hints and tips as well as other info in it. The Sims 2. Improving upon everything from the first one, The Sims 2 was a game I got really into. If there was any game in the world I'd love to work on, The Sims series would definately be it. All the props and designing clothes would be a dream job for me. King's Quest 5. The first King's Quest I ever played. It sparked enough interest to go back and play all the other King's Quests which were typing based games. One of my favourite adventure series.
This here is a list of video games that I have some attachment to in some way or another. May not be the most highly rated games, but they are games that I've played and have influenced me in some way.

Bomberman was crazy, but the old NHL games (94-95) allowed you to hook up two multitaps for crazy 4 on 4 battles. There was always one idiot that wanted to be the goalie and that screwed everything up.
Also, Day of the tentacle was one of the best games of all times, yet i refuse to try playing it again.
