I took this image of the Sierra Buttes near lower Sardine Lake in early June on a morning trip up to the Lakes Basin area, which is near Graeagle, CA. I've been hoping to get back there and photograph the buttes at sunrise, but it's been too smoky because of all the fires in California.
This photo was taken on June 7, 2008 in Bassetts, California, US, using a Canon EOS 5D.
