      Stop war please,
      We are all peace lovers.

    13. satguru (41 months ago | reply)

flitesd, do you include Hamas under 'We are all peace lovers'? I won't go into the details here but do you think anyone posted messages on their photos and websites or demonstrated in the UK against their rockets before Israel acted?

    14. flitesd (41 months ago | reply)

@ satguru: I'm talking about the innocent people;the poor young children .
I'm not talking about Hamas and the Israeli army.

    15. satguru (41 months ago | reply)

That should have been made clear the first time. No one wants innocent people to be involved but find one war where they weren't? Setting up garrisons in the centre of residential areas makes it inevitable but so far only 20% of the casualties in Gaza are civilians (last time I heard) whereas the ones in Israel before were nearly all, and they are who Hamas primarily target as they (and many others) say all Israelis are valid targets. You can't do a thing against that attitude besides beat it militarily like the Nazis. Otherwise eventually the death toll in Israel will reach that in Gaza, but be all made up of civilians.
I wonder how many people living in the 40 mile range agree with the critics?

    16. satguru (41 months ago | reply)

We get plenty in the news, but you can't say Israel are targeting them directly as I have direct links there and they avoid that as much as they can due to how easily people jump on them when they do. If you want civilian casualties look at the Americans, they are so careless they regularly kill people on their own side let alone civilians.

The fact you now accuse Israel of deliberately targeting civilians revives my original suspicions about your motives here.

    17. flitesd (41 months ago | reply)

@ satguru: My only motive is to tell peolpe that there is a war crime happening and no one took position, there are innocent children who diserve to live in peace and dignity killed ,they are human beings and they diserve to speak out loud about them.

    18. satguru (41 months ago | reply)

Nothing wrong with that, so did you speak out before when they were killing innocent Israelis?

    19. Gam zo letovah (41 months ago | reply)

No sane individual advocates giving Hamas sovereignty over Gaza because of Hamas War crimes:
      - Shooting rockets and grenades purposely on civilian targets in Israel.
      - Shooting these rockets from within Palestinian civilian compounds such as schools or in proximity to hospitals or residential buildings.
      - Storing weapons and ammunition in schools, mosques, public offices and buildings.
      - Regularly using their own civilians as human shields; particularly children, often forced to be in the most dangerous spots.
      - During fighting with the Israeli forces the Hamas fighters, who wore uniforms at the beginning, changed to civilian clothing or IDF uniforms and continued to fight.
      - Hamas fighters have routinely hid among civilians in hospitals

Thanks for the support gamzoletovah, I think unless people have a connection with Israel they find it very difficult to understand the true picture, we can only tell them and hope they realise the situation is different from what most media tell them.

    21. AnomalousNYC (40 months ago | reply)

Has it never occurred to you that if what you insist is the "true picture" is seen by only a few million Jews, while six BILLION humans who are not Jewish along with every human rights organization on the planet, see something radically different - that perhaps it is YOU who are embracing a lie? Your refusal to consider this obvious conclusion fuels your increasingly ridiculous assertion that Israel's critics are all just hypocrites and anti-semites.

I am horrified to the point of nauseous rage by the conduct of Israel. This is not because I am one-sided, stupid, racist, deluded, lazy, or ill-informed. I am appalled because that is the normal response of a well-informed human being to what Israel has done. I am enraged because I am a conscious, rational, intelligent human being who has been paying close attention to this conflict for a few decades.

I came to this page 21 months ago to praise the photographer for taking a beautiful and touching human portrait, but in recent weeks this page has been co-opted by all these fanatical tribalists caught up in one of their periodic and increasingly frequent explosions of Israeli war-fever.

Out of deference to the smiling children in the photo above, and out of grief for the 430 Palestinian children who will never smile again, their lives having been snuffed out during Israel's recent 21-day murder marathon, I will not comment further.

      Defense for Children International

TELEGRAPH UK: Doctors at a hospital near Gaza are almost overwhelmed by the number of Palestinian children needing treatment for bullet wounds to their heads.

    22. satguru (40 months ago | reply)

One by one they are drawn out. I asked the last person (the one to derail this thread incidentally) whether he complained when Hamas attacked Israel for all those years, and he didn't reply.

It's amazing when anyone else does something it's their business, but when Israel does everyone complains. Why do you think that is?

    23. თვითმხილველი [deleted] (40 months ago | reply)

Civils are a target of israel army? jajajaja... Yes, yes... Kids and women's and old and poor palestine people are target because they are the danger... undoubtedly...!! jajaja. Not HAMAS, not hamas... The real danger for israel are womens and kids and grannys... jajaja.

In light of the unfortunate direction that the comments on this wonderful, warm photo have taken, I feel it germane and even imperative to note that:
      a) the community these boys belong to is anti-Zionist
      and
      b) there are many other such Orthodox Jews worldwide.

An explanation of the Torah-based anti-Zionist perspective can be found at
      jewsagainstzionism.com/zionism/notjews.cfm

(Please don't allow the admittedly poor form and writing-quality on much of the site to negate the substantive material it contains.)

I extend my sympathy to the Palestinian people and plead with them and the rest of the world not to hold Jews-- as a whole-- responsible for the actions of the Zionist State.

    25. satguru (38 months ago | reply)

The reasons for Israel are practical and nothing to do with religious prophecies. You try living in much of Europe from the pogroms to the last war and say the Jews don't need a safe place to live. Let alone the expulsions from just about every country on earth before then. Why not just use reality rather than drag religion into it?
