Sorting through heaps of photos spanning back several years as I'm putting together my photo wall in Vancouver at the moment (the Whistler wall was EPIC). I take a lot of photos of my friends, who are now scattered across the globe. Some of these people I speak with every day, others I haven't talked to in years. But they were all important to me at one moment in time or another and I like being reminded how vast the world is and how far friendship can be spread.
Music also has a HUGE effect on triggering memories in me. Usually it has to do with a song or the band I was listening to at the time I was with a specific person or doing something. So I've been listening to a lot of stuff in the past couple of days that bring back reminders of times I've spent with specific people. For example:
* Every time I hear Bloc Party I think of Kenny and the insane
adventurous night we had in Vancouver when we were to their show and
ran around the city afterwards.
* The Frames remind me of Bumbershoot and Tory and how we were so
excited after the show was finished about how great it was.
* The Cat Empire is the band Graham, Keith and Andy came to see at the
GLC and we danced all night.
And so on and so forth...

Found this while scanning the 'memories' tag this morning. Brilliant work; makes me wish I sat on my floor with eargoggles on more often.
One question I've got: What is your print process for your photos? I've been meaning to drag all my digital creations out into the carbon-based world, and it looks like you've got a handle on that.
