I'll probably end up posting the recipe after all (I was afraid to bore the crap out of everyone with so many bread recipes!), because the nutmeg makes it really enjoyable with some nut butter on top!

my mom used to make us gugelhupf all the time, since I'm from Switzerland I knew the name. loved it! she used to make a lemon mousse along with it and it was the dessert of choice for special occasions.
