   it's always cute when it's someone else's kid, lol.

   tonight my son ran away after a ball and before i realized he was gone, he was most of the way across our parking lot (we live in a condo). as i was chasing after him, wildly waving at a neighbor to stop her car, i noticed how really cute he was, so intent on catching that ball, so oblivious to the approaching car, just doing his little thing. but it really almost gave a me a heart attack.

   Thank you, everyone! Yes, I'll go on and say it, he really is beautiful. In all his messy punk glory, he's precious. I can say that, now, after he's bathed and sleeping :-)

   @Uncommon Grace - Oh dear Lord! So glad that Mr. Oblivious Cuteness is still in one piece, and that Mama's heart is still beating!

    the reason i decided to share that hideous story is that even in the most "causing mama to yank her hair out" moment, they still can be awfully cute. like yours and the mud, stefani.
