not sure if i like this…

well apparently the winter has decided to take the year off, so decided to get back on the bike today and get an early start on one of my new years resolutions… 5000 miles on the bike this year. 21 down, 4979 to go :P

not sure why i've decided to take up 2 time consuming (today's ride was 1hr:15min… and it was a shortish one) hobbies, but why the hell not. i've got nothing better to do with my time ;-)

and yeah, from time to time i wear a full cycling jersey. not all the time, but as goofy as it may look (although i have to admit, i'm damn sexy in tights) it is a bit faster to ride in (less wind resistance) and the jersey itself has some pockets on the back for placing munchies… and seeing as how i burn about 1000 cals per 20 miles and weekend rides can be as long as 100 miles having a little fuel on board never hurts.

the rabobank gloves are form my uncle marcel in holland. rabobank is the dutch cycling squad that is an annual participant in the peleton of le tour (de france).

still eff'ing around with filters. this was the best of the bunch of all the shots i took tonight, so you can imagine how god awful the other 35 pics were of (varying subjects, there are only so many pics i can take of the moon).

hopefully over time these filters will provide some value… as of right now they are essentially circle producers as far as i'm concerned.

friend at work found some wacky filters at home (he's not a photog and has no idea what they are from), but I'll be playing around with them over the next few days to see what kind of interesting effects I can get out of 'em.
