Sorry for the grainy pic. It was late and we were sleepy!
There was a big ruckus ouside our front door tonight around 1:30am.
Thought it might be a burglar or cat or injured bird, but it turned
out to be this huge kabutomushi (rhinoceros beetle). I've never seen a
wild one this big- he's a beauty, isn't he?
Wanted to get better pictures but I was sleepy and I have a long day
tomorrow- I'm going back to Canada for a visit (otherwise I would have
kept him!)
