Label tutorial 1

This tute shows you how to make a label 'sticker' with lightweight fusible webbing. This webbing is sometimes sold as "Sewer's Dream". It is polyester, has no weight, is very flimsy and perfect for this appllication. I also fuse it to the back of my embroidery projects (before doing any stitching) as it will hide any threads you carry across the back of your design.

Prepare your label. Pin label & fusible web RST (so, your label with writing side up, your webbing with fusible/glue side down, against the writing). Sew around the outside with a 1/4" seam allowance. Backstitch at the beginning and end, leaving a 1" opening at one end. Round corners slightly with stitching.
