- Udderly ridiculous level of detail
- I'm a bit concerned about this gapping. - Trevor Van Aalst
- Me too. It's been in every photo I've seen. - Rocko™
- I'm hoping it's just a 'pre-production' issue ...
- I'm puzzled about why the cows need the 1x2 sized gap? Unless LEGO plan a rodeo set? Now that would be cool... I wanna rodeo set!!! - LouiseDade
- How punny! - pyreƒyre
- Well presumably they'll want to use the cows to drag ploughs and the like. - Doctor Sinister
- It's so we can make Blazing saddles MOCs, of course. Mongo!!
3945.org/BlazingSaddlesMongo%20small.jpg - Trevor Van Aalst - And that's no bull! ;) - Heather LEGOgirl
- We're really milking this one
- Eh, I got nothin'. - The Pumpkin Man
- You know, it would almost be okay, if the face wasn't so Duplo looking. Honestly, if the had put something closer to what the horses look like it would be an okay piece. I'd still use the Brickforge one, but it would make the sets this was in less disturbing.... - The Pumpkin Man
Cow Tipping
I managed to get a few minutes alone with the new "Castle Town Square" / "Medieval Market Square" LEGO set during the launch in the UK ... so I had to engage in a little cow tipping :-)

Tipping.... Good for waitresses, bad for cows.

Cartoondude - Yeah, the horns come out. They looked like they are a standard size (i.e. compatible with the viking horns, pneumatic hose, light sabre blades, etc.), but I didn't have time to check.
pyreƒyre (44 months ago | reply)
It's odd that they need an entirely new piece for the horns.

I hate to say it, but in my eyes, compared to the existing LEGO horse, the Brickforge cow is just more LEGO like than the official one.

I agree with Tony. This cow appears to be a cousin of the latest dragon mold.

Can't wait! I bet those horns will look good on viking helmets!

@SavaTheAggie: Gotta agree with you. The official cows, especially next to the regular horses, look far too round and Duplo-esque.
Of course, I'm still going to squeal like a child on Christmas when I get my hands on one. Just saying... ;)

Well a cow should be pretty round compared to a horse. We fatten them up for eatin, right?

I second the opinion of every one else. This one looks too... duplo-like. I'll stick with the Brickforge ones.

Brick Cow > Lego Cow
Reason: Too Duplo-like
