Old 3D photos on display on Ave. McGill-CollegeI'd heard about this street exhibition of 19th century 3D photographs from the McCord Museum, and I wondered how they would get the 3D effect. Handing out 3D glasses for such a public display seemed impractical. I went by today and saw how they did it, which is brilliant. The 3D "glasses" are part of the display itself. You just look through the green and red "visor" to the 3D image on the next panel, and there you have it: 3D!

Even dragons need to peeThere's a new Tai Chi center opening up in Longueuil. Last weekend they had a parade on rue St. Charles with this dragon. He must have had a few beers too, because I found him waiting in line at the porta-potties.
