strange winter

It's a very strange, mild winter we've been having, with very few opportunities to make snowtographs. I fall back on dried, somehow poignant vegetation.

We're pretty stuck on the new First Aid Kit album (a terrific Swedish sister duo), "The Lion's Roar", but the soundtrack to this shot is "Ghost Town" from their first album:

I'm crazy with my proficiency exam, so I'm attached to that particular railroad track (tied with rope by a man in a top hat twiddling his handlebar mustache), but I'll come back someday.
