For some reason I don't feel comfortable near a wind farm. These turbines are loud and imposing. These particular turbines are responsible for large number of bat deaths.

First, this is a great picture. Second, I totally agree with you about them being creepy, but only because they remind me of the last scene in "Less Than Zero".
