Strep throat in austin TX!

what a huge (treatable) relief. If it wasn't strep they were talking about giving me a spinal tap to check for meningitus. Gulp. This sure fucks up my sxsw trip though...

yeah, i don't know what the heck happened. i went downhill later thursday, and i've been just miserable all day today. glad i went to the hospital. i've got a little video and more pics, but they're touchy about that. some mumbo jumbo about "privacy" and "federal regulations."

btw which hospital did you go to? south austin tried to bill us for 2k worth of treatment we didn't get, so be wary. I've heard rumors of all the hospitals being sketchy in some form.

i don't even know you, and i realize this pic is ages old... but I got strep throat earlier this week and it brought me to my damn knees!! It seems so common, I thought, "surely I don't need to go to the hospital!" but I would have were I able to drive or think straight. Worst I'd felt in over a year!!
